One dead in train collision near Kingman, Ariz.; NTSB investigating

KINGMAN, Ariz. — Officials with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) says one person has died following a train collision northeast of Kingman on Tuesday. According to deputies, at 3 p.m., they responded to a report of a train collision outside of Truxton. As they arrived, they found that one train had derailed and the other sustained significant damage in the collision. MCSO says one man was pronounced dead at the scene and another man suffered significant injuries in the incident.
