BLET shares summary of Tentative National Agreement

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, October 16 — In response to membership questions regarding the Tentative National Agreement, the BLET is making available a summary of its main points and some examples of its application.

The PDF linked below is based on the presentation the BLET National Division shared with all involved General Chairmen on October 6, 2017, prior their unanimous endorsement of the Tentative Agreement for consideration by BLET membership. As the Nation’s Freight Carriers have not varied from their previous formal position should this dispute come before a Presidential Emergency Board, the summary compares the proposed voluntary agreement to those Carriers’ demands.
