Teamster Military Assistance Program offers job opportunities to military spouses

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Teamsters Military Assistance Program (TMAP) has partnered with FirstGroup America and the U.S. Military to create job opportunities for veterans and their spouses. FirstGroup America is the largest passenger transportation company in the nation, providing school and community transportation at over 700 locations across the US and Canada. FirstGroup is just the latest Teamster company to join the portfolio providing employment transition assistance to veterans and their families through TMAP.

Under this partnership, the Teamsters are working directly with our military partners to outreach and recruit military family members. Military spouses and dependents are being placed in good union jobs at Teamster-represented FirstGroup locations in communities across the country.
