In westbound oil trains, worries focus on the next big spill

WEST GLACIER, Mont. — For about 30 miles alongside Glacier National Park, oil and water run together. The Middle Fork of the Flathead River marks Glacier’s southern boundary. On the far bank lies BNSF Railway’s “Hi-Line,” one of the main routes for transporting crude oil from North Dakota’s Bakken fields to the West Coast.
