Applications due March 2 for Hoffa Scholarship Fund

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The deadline for applying for an academic or vocational/training program scholarship from the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund is March 2. High school seniors who are the sons, daughters of financial dependents of Teamster members are eligible to apply. (Including members of the BLET, BMWED and GCC).

In 2019, the fund distributed $1.2 million in scholarships to assist Teamster families with the cost of college and trade school education. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $10,000 for Academic and up to $2,000 for vocational/training programs.
