BLET/UP Western Region New Member Open Enrollment for Short Term Coverage

We are pleased to inform you that the BLET/UP Western Region is currently in a new member open enrollment with Lincoln Financial Group. All of the available coverages are offered separately and a member’s participation in one or all of those coverages, and the level to which they elect to participate, is voluntary and strictly their individual choice.

The purpose of this group insurance plan is to give you options to supplement your income in the event that you cannot work as a result of an injury or illness. The group plan offers Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverages.

All insurance under this Union Group Policy is provided by Lincoln Financial Group, and will cover you “on and off the job” (24 Hour Coverage) for as long as you continue to remain actively employed.

In order to enroll, you must have joined the union between 1/1/2016-5/1/2016. You will be required to have a Local Chairman or Secretary/Treasurer verify the date you joined before your coverage is effective.
