Senate confirms three to NMB

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senate Republicans cleared 27 Trump appointees on Thursday as part of a confirmation blitz that is expected to last for weeks. Confirmed nominees included three appointees to the National Mediation Board: Kyle Fortson, of the District of Columbia, for a term expiring July 1, 2019; Gerald Fauth, of Virginia, for a term expiring July 1, 2020; and Linda Puchala (reappointment), of Maryland, for a term expiring July 1, 2018.
