Utah legislature at odds with UP over switcher locomotives

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Utah lawmakers are steamrolling ahead with a bill to strong-arm the largest railroad company in North America, with a top legislative leader accusing the Union Pacific of being an unwilling and uncooperative partner in efforts to clear the state’s troublesome air pollution.
